Just a quick update on my Gray Nicolls kit.
My Maverick 4 star had a couple of splits in it and as the kind chaps at Somerset County Sports give a one year warranty with all bats I got it sent of to Gray Nicolls to repair the damage for free. It came back looking brand new and I'm so happy with it, feels great and looks beautiful.
I've also acquired my brothers Oblivion 5 star. He bought it again from Somerset County Sports earlier this year. He didn't use it much this season (only a couple times in the nets) and has now headed of to Uni and has given it to me for a small sum of money. Weighs 2.9 picks up nicely around 38mm edges and all round a nice bat
The other bat is my A61 400 that formerly was a Quantum 4 star, not much to say about that.
Finally are my E41 1000 l.e gloves from Jake at Vitas. These are just great gloves, a mix of Sausage and split fingers which make them very comfortable and the tri-split thumb is also nice. They will be my match gloves for next year.

Whatever happened to brand loyalty?
Lovely looking kit there. I guess the Mav is proof you don't need 25+ grains or A+++++++ willow for it to be a nice bat.

Good point Alvaro!
Only got 4 grains but goes like a rocket!

Contemplating getting a fifth set of gloves...
Is this a tad O.T.T?

Nice collection mate, I'm a big fan of the oblivion !

5 isn't excessive at all, in fact it's a modest collection ;)
