Title: My new affinity pads
Post by: simonmay5 on October 14, 2013, 07:43:48 PM
I bought a new set off pads over the weekend and I am very impressed with the way the fit and the way they have the extra protection they have with the internal shin pad that keeps your leg well protected I looked at the mh and could not believe the extra mile affinity went with their pad they are very light and have the extra protection that i think will stop the pad moving around (http://i1265.photobucket.com/albums/jj513/simonmay5/188444f6-3a7d-4540-8a89-6d94771c0841.jpg) (http://s1265.photobucket.com/user/simonmay5/media/188444f6-3a7d-4540-8a89-6d94771c0841.jpg.html)(http://i1265.photobucket.com/albums/jj513/simonmay5/image-54.jpg) (http://s1265.photobucket.com/user/simonmay5/media/image-54.jpg.html)

Very similar to the M&H T2/Distinction, but I'm sure there are some subtle differences.  Price, maybe?

.  This is what I thought Paul but the affinity have gone the extra mile with the shin guard and the extra cane in. Behind the shine guard they are lighter than the m&h and with a lot better protection level I really do think they are the best pad on the market and I pretty sure the level off protection won't be beaten

The affinity pads are 1 lb 14 oz per pad and the m@h are 2lb.2 so even with the extra protection the affinity pads are lighter

The m&h had removable shin guards plus let's be fair the m&h are classy and made with leather, these aren't.

I wouldn't say these aren't classy. They look very good indeed, just not the same class as the M&H.
The M&H are like the lady of the house, elegant and easy on the eye. The affinity are like the daughter with slightly too short and tight clothes on, similar in looks on the face of it, but lacking the elegance. You wouldn't say no to either.
