Denly's gloves are the Ignite Players, released for 2010 in the UK.

-
does anyone know which gray niccs pads and gloves r cumin out in uk ?
you mean which ranges: same as last year except evo replace predator. Nitro range goes up to pro performance as does ignite. powerbow only to 5*
-
Evo pads. Look rubbish tbh:

Your very own M91,bringing you all the GM gear, the Kookaburra gear and now GN gear, before they were released! 'Stay tuned' for The Choice Cricket gear and the Slazenger cricket equipment, due to be leaked within a fortnight!!!
-
Also known as the Gray Nicolls website. http://www.gray-nicolls.co.uk/blog/evo-to-lead-gray-nicolls-into-2010/ (http://www.gray-nicolls.co.uk/blog/evo-to-lead-gray-nicolls-into-2010/)
Don't pretend you know people and get the info before anyone else. GM gear was posted first by me, Sports Insight, then V Sports. Kookaburra gear was the same with Cricket Supplies being the latter.
-
ye musama I would like some pics of the gloves
-
They are hideous......
-
trying to replicate the Puma pad i would say without the hinged knee section

tom you are absolutely right and i agree with yuo 100%. However, I should remind you that I was probabaly the first person to release pics of kookaburra bats on the forum (csf and cbf). i am not saying that i have contacts. all i am saying is that i can get the info and pics etc and be the first./one of the first to show them to everybody on the forums. and by the way, of all the companies you mentioned, no one released the whole batting range or the wk gear or the 808 5* gear. You may have had the brochure tom, but you kept on teasing us with snippets of info and no pics.
why are we even getting hung up on such issues. enjoy the pics!
-
I posted pics of Kookaburra bats on here as well as links to the SGB Sports and Sports Insight which showed them. I didn't post the whole lot as I have to see the guys from the retail and manufacturing fairly often so like to keep things sweet.
Anyway, you got any news on Mongoose? Be interested to see what they have in store for next season!

Your not the only one - what news of the pads and gloves
-
i saw a g1 mongoose being sold for £150 on some website today.
-
musama91, do you have Aidy1098 writing your script and advising you on PR? Also did you used to be known as C Dog?
-
oooooooo busted.
-
no, no and no!
-

I actually miss Cdog now lol, he was banned for life on custombats when it was first launched! (posted under the name of chopper cricket)
-
it seems post was reeeemoved???
-
Yeah cos it wasn't really relevant, argue and your banned
-
C Dog must have been one of the very few Indians on the forum.
-
Red Indian!
-
Not to many Red Indians from Eastern Europe.
-
Last time I heard he was trying to escape college in Havant.
-
Last time I heard he was looking for a free cricket bat to trial and test. (I took the specs to the best batmaker I know and he just had a giraffe , so we settled on a few Kingfishers and Mutton Kebabs).
-
I have the new GN '10 catalog if anyones interested?
-
please yes :)
-
Enjoy!

thanks for the pics! Stuff looks ok. Ignite is still the best bat. Nitro looks better with the black. Gray Nicholls haven't actually added anything apart from a very ugly Evo range and a change of colours for designs that have been adapted for a different range. The Predators are just Ignite softs and the Xiphos destroyer pads are the predator 5* ones but with silver piping on the wings.
Overall im quite disappointed, Lazy stuff.
-
they are some ugly gloves
-
i think its fair to say that aussie gn looks much better than this uk stuff... way to 'try-hardy' for my liking. the aussie gn stuff i have is top notch stuff, modern yet still fairly simple which is good... some of this stuff (especially the horrid looking evo range) i dont know how the designers came up with. best looking stuff by far is the nitro test softs and ignite players gloves
-
The respective GN ranges are probs the best available in Australia but the worst in the UK this time round. Puma could still spoil the party with their allegedly hideous green and red Kinetic range.
-
yeah from what ive seen and heard about the new uk puma kit, it sure seems to be an eyesore... they've really gone down over the last few seasons both in uk and aus in my opinion (and this is coming from someone who used to use only puma kit!)
-
EVO stuff is different - ugly in my opinion, but so far removed from previous GN stuff that I'd find it hard to call it lazy.
Like the new Ignite gloves - more like the Aussie range, though the new ignite pads look minging in my opinion.
New Powerbow graphics are cool - like the new powerbow gloves (I know they are just ignite gloves, but in yellow, but prefer yellow to orange) - what sort og spec are the new Powerbow pads?
Nitro range looks good too
Anyone have any clues as to who might endorse what?
-
powerbow softs have the same design and specs to last years ignite softs. same with nitro (powerbow copy in blue colourways).
Ramps endorses the Nitro range but GN don't really care - In the Summer I saw Strauss use the Ignite bat with Powerbow, Xiphos and Ignite pads and the Ignite or Powerbow gloves. Same with Cooky. Ramprakash is the only player sponsored by GN UK who actually uses the endorsed range.
-
except for his bat, which is a newbery. (Ramprakash that is)

IMHO , EVO will sell large style. Then the rest are playing catch up.
-
I quite like the look of the new bats, but I really not a fan of the softs
-
Evo bat looks great! Softs havent really changed much.
-
should of had the GN rep in at work yesterday, but he didn't show up before i left, i am helping my boss with all the cricket orders next week so get to look through all the new gear
-
Sounds good Liam where are you working? at the county ground in taunton?
-
Nah, I live in Bridport, and work at Bridport Sports for a few hours on a Wednesday afternoon,
-
lovin the nitro gear, think i shall be gettin them and a nitro with some ignite gloves and a ignite
-
What happend to getting GM gear?
-
he changes his mind like a girl changes cloths
-
got the 2010 gray niccs catalogue today for sponsor
good gear!
-
he changes his mind like a girl changes cloths
Katy Perry reference.. haha
-
saw the gear today, evo softs are a catastrophic error on GN's part, Ignite players pads are horrible, and the Powerbow 5 star top the softs along with the nitro test softs, all bats are very, excluding the pink dual t20 bats
-
is it gonna be a bad year for them?
-
well, i believe their bats will sell well as i think they always have, however i think they will struggle in the soft goods market with one or two if their ranges,
-

Nice to see they can't even sticker their own bats properly...
-
why cant they?
-
haha the gn sticker is up side down
-
haha.....they may be changin the range for '10
-
Very much doubt that Tommo...
-
i am being sarcastic mate

-
so maybe my idea isnt so stupid :)
no its stupid, they stickered it wrong, and rob key obv stickers his own bats as there probs not GN as on a few bats he has bits of xiphos and ignite stickers, so probs gets a load and customises
the pic is joe denly, but key also has same

the pic shows joe denly with the stickers the normal way
-
GN gear 2010 is good but I think GM gear 2010 is going to be the best with Kookaburra.
-
anyone know anything about these gloves?:
-
last year's nitros?
-
could be, they are much nicer looking than this years version...
-
Well, Strauss never really worries about new or matching kit... I like the GN sausage gloves, but prefer last year's Powerbows for colourway.
-
Strauss' gear this summer has been a real mixture - Nitro pads in whites, though I have seen him wear coloured Xiphos pads, and then rotating a pair of last year's nitro gloves (as above), this years nitro gloves and this years ignite gloves - all whilst using an Evo stickered bat.
Even as an amateur I like my gear to co-ordinate (it's not all the same brand, but all has red trim) - I think it's looks messy to have such mish mash of kit - I like the approach Kook take, in that they issue their pro's with the same colour schemes, even if this doesn't correspond to the product they use, or even better GM, who's product range is completely interchangeable in terms of its colour schemes
-
I think GN are pretty shoddy these days to be fair - absolutely nothing interesting about them at all, and a declining number of top pros. Graeme Swann is still profiled on their website! A brand very much resting on its laurels.
