Hi guys and gals,
I am now starting to make bats that I can sell, and am wondering where I can get a press (including a curved roller) and a lathe so I don't have to hand bind my bats? I have been looking everywhere online but nobody actually seems to make these things, so I am perplexed as to how all these bat makers get hold of them!
If anyone could help me I would be massively grateful!

A lathe is very easy to find, try ebay for a start. Presses are very expensive and cost anything from 2k upwards.

Ok, maybe a press is out of the question then. Would a 40" lathe suffice? Seems that it's pretty hard to get into batmaking. Been struggling to find the correct tools for the job. I think a sticker supplier is the hardest though as i've had no luck at all.

A cricket bat is 34 3/8 in length max (LH). So as long as the internal dimension is 40" then yes.

stickers i can get them made for you

At what price? I am thinking roughly £5 per set seems like an acceptable price to pay, obviously I would need to send a rough design that can then be made to look professional.

Adcal or RHTI but the minimum order may do you over in terms of the unit cost
