Well worth it mate. I got them from SD and for the money they are the best pads for the money, well up there with all other top end pads, get the matching gloves as well as they are top top gloves as well

Picked up the gloves form Pro Direct for £30 (cheaper than SD if you inc. postage), would echo the recommendation of those.
All Kook softs I've had have been great quality - I'll be getting the Bubble and Impulse pads for 2014

Top of the range Kookaburra pads and gloves are recommended, particularly when discounted like this.
I have Kahuna and CCX range and very pleased with them.
Lorimers have Recoil 900 batting gloves on ebay for £30 delivered; pro issue for £40 delivered.
Sports Direct is £25 for the 900 batting gloves and £30 for the same model pads. Plus P&P if order is below £100.
Most of the above are RH only.
If happy with the colour scheme, as good a set of softs for the money as can be readily found.

I echo these thought i've pre-ordered all new Kook gear but needed some new pads to train with so punted on the SD site and was between the ricochet and recoil pads but went with the recoil 900's.
Amazing pads really comfy and quite light as well good straps well worth the 30 quid they are up for i would recommend while they still have some.
