A foam roller would be a bit light to do anything to the wicket, are you sure you aren't thinking of a super sopper  ;)

In all seriousness not used one, but I can recommend a tennis ball to roll your feet over after a days play

I prefer a sheepskin roller for emulsion, gives a better finish.

I have been using one for about a month now and find it really useful. Good for both stretching and pain relief. I follow a couple of channels on Youtube namely Mark Rosenberg D.C and Anita Goa.

Lacrosse balls are really good as well, might seem odd at first but do the job!

If you have a knot that needs removing then you can actually use a cricket ball. My physio (who used to be at Yorkshire before moving to leeds carnegie) recommended using one for my sciatica, in conjunction with other exercises.

I've got a bad patch in the top of my thigh/ (No Swearing Please) and he told me to use a cricket ball as a roller. This will massage the knot and loosen up the area. I suggest using it with your sofa. It won't dig in as much and be more comfortable.
