Title: Visited Gray Nicolls today to hand pick our bats
Post by: Uzi Sports on November 13, 2013, 07:53:56 PM: Just arrived home after spending the whole day hand picking our bats at Gray Nicolls HQ.
Picked up beauties , too many to bring back. Our order was 3 times bigger than I planned, didn't want to leave any of those I selected. Took some photos , will post later tonight

it seems like you got in first as Paul is going on friday and i think Jake from vitas is going tomorrow

We were told that the bats would only become available on Monday (18th), so booked to go on Tuesday (19th). Now, all of a sudden, we learn that they actually have the bats earlier than they told us... What can you do??!! :( :-[

Only one as they didn't have many to chose from, hopefully next week we will have Vortex and Powerspot. My favourite is Nemesis and Oblivion

I saw a e41 5 star that Asad had when there at the weekend and the thing was huge and light but tapped up so well. I have always though gray Nicolle was a bit of a lottery in what you got at time but goes to show if you buy from someone who hand picks you will get a beauty.

Completely agree with you Chris, in order to get the best you have to make an effort to go and hand pick. My criteria of hand picking is Performance as i saw some good looking bats today but i didn't pick them as they were pressed very hard :)

Thank you, you won't find any rubbish at our shop. It is not easy to hand pick when you have over 1000 bats to go through

it's even harder to pick from your gems in your shop asad it heaven being In your cricket shop :)

Did you not say that was not even half the bats you have at your shop, you have a warehouse with even more?

i already have few from 2013 hence didn't bother, basically ran out of money :D

I really like the shape of the powerbow and for the money it's an incredible bat, but I'm not a fan of the stickers across the whole GN range. They're pretty hideous colours in my opinion maybe with the exception of the e41 back stickers.

Both of these are good, and play exceptionally well. For that price u can't go wrong. It took me some time to find these

They not only look good but will perform as well as I pick my bats on performance

Asad Bhai - Just curious...why is a bat like that graded as a Grade 4 by GN? Looks a lot better than a grade 4 imo.

Most of these are but u have to go through many to find these gems so guys buy these as u won't find better than these especially in that price ;)

same here , i used Dynadrive when I was playing. I may pick one for myself or get a custom made from Legend quality willow as I am thinking of start playing regularly for a local team. If you have any specific requirements we can get a custom made bat for u.
