Title: SmallBig Bags
Post by: FattusCattus on November 16, 2013, 09:44:43 PM
This has been much debated on here, do people have a list of favoured bags in what I like to call SmallBig size? By this I don't mean ginormous behemoths that won't fit in your car.

I'm thinking of something around 900mm x 360mm x 360mm or possibly smaller - but preferably also with seperate bat-tunnels. Many have favoured the SalixPodPro which fits into this sort of category - but is there anything else like this - perhaps from a lesser-known brand?

I've got a Pod Pro and it's the perfect size. However, I'd love it if I could find an equivalent size duffle, they all seem either too small or ridiculously big.

ive got a gray nics quantum one of the double decker bags, can easily fit all my stuff into except for the fact it only has 1 bat sleeve which i cant even get a bat to fit all the way in to do up. it has meant i have my spare bat in between to two parts of the bag in a bat cover

Red ink are coming out with bags pretty soon. One large one medium, lots of red colouring! Right up your street!

I have a millichamp & Hall T2 Bag which fits your size category well , the build quality is excellent and is a stand up bag , No bat tunnel but I believe the T1 does ( Slightly larger),

I'll revive this topic by suggesting one of these Fattus.

Slightly bigger than what you were after at 96cm x 36cm x 41cm but I thought it was worth a punt.

If you're interested I'll do a full picturey review for you when it arrives Mr Cat.

I've had one of those Cam and didn't like it.

The large top packet where you put your pads isn't big enough, and with the bulge the pads create, the pocket is really stretched and becomes difficult to zip up. Which then makes a bag of this size and price seems silly.

Take a look at the GN1000 wheelie bag, very very nice - there's a good review on the IJC website. Lots of compartments plus a three bat tunnel.

I'm not that fussed about it standing up.
