Title: Which bat should I get from South Africa?
Post by: lukemannionzimbabwe on November 17, 2013, 05:19:01 AM: Hi guys.

I'm going to SA For Christmas, and I was wondering what bat you think I should get.

Specs-
Budget : 3000 R
Size: SH
I am usually scoring along the boundary, but I am not a slogger.

Post by: Wooly on November 17, 2013, 06:18:54 AM: I'm a big GM fan so would probably go with the Icon as I don't know much about the Purist. Isn't B&S a SA brand? I like the look of those so maybe there is another option for you but you really can't go wrong with any of those you mentioned if you can find a good one that feels good in your hands. Good luck. Always great fun buying a bat.

Don't use the UK website though, you'll end up ordering one from me ;)

If you are going to SA i would advise going straight to Bellingham & Smith and getting yourself a belter.

Their SA website didn't work so I posted the uk one for details of where they are - should've pointed him in your direction Jake!

Agree, SA website is beyond poor. It still had a link to a Newbery 2006 range last time i checked.

I thought about offering a B&S, but once shipping back to SA is factored in, it is cheaper (and far far better, i would love to go to their factory) to go direct to B&S.
