I am bored this morning! Not much happening, so I was left looking at cricket bats AGAIN. Today I started to look at GM and their 2014 range. There are plenty of pictures of the different bats on the forum but not really one place for all of them. As I don't have a cricket shop most the pictures will be stock photos from the internet.
Hope you guys find this useful.
Here goes:
Firstly some information regarding bat GM bag shapes and some useful charts.

I create desalination descalents for water companies and pesticides and herbicides for Suadi Farmers. I work from home, today is a slow day and it's cold outside.

Quite possibly the best answer ever.
This is a great help, thanks KRS!

Is it me or is this a bit over complicated from GM?

The F2, F4.5 and F7 does seem too complicated. If I wanted an icon which one would I get? 2 , 4.5 or 7? and how are they different (technical jargon aside)
-
Not complicated at all:
F7 - traditional shape and profile with regular edges and a curved face.
F2 - very flat face with very thick edges.
F4.5 - half way between the above profiles, so slightly curved face and thick edges.
We have them all in stock at the moment, so you are all welcome to come and see the difference for yourselves.
-
Customer feedback wise for us, the interest has all been focused on the F2 and F4.5 models.
We find the thinner profile of the F7 doesn't appeal to our customer base, who seem to like the more modern look with the thicker edges. So GM have actually taken a step forward and given the customer a choice on the modern styled bat.
