Had this on pre order with Jake who selected for me.
2.9lb exactly 12/13 grains. spine is 65mm with edges peaking at 40mm I reckon before it was knocked in.
Slight wave to the grain, but lovely pick up and feel...for a lot of wood in the bat....for the weight. Will try and get some better profile shots for ya'll tonight/tomoz.

Glad you are pleased with it mate. Like i explained on the phone, not the nicest looking LE i've ever picked, but it did match your other requirements spot on, and it taps up ever so well.

Wow ....now that's how LE bats should look like

One thing i have noticed on a lot of GN 2014 bats (only noticed after yours and a few other pre-order bats had been dispatched) is that the tape on the grip was either terribly applied, or has ridden up the grip for some reason, apologies if this is the case with yours.

That's alright mate - you can have another go with the custom order Powerspot!!! ;0) haha
It's a different league to the one I bought this year...more wood, less weight....more grains.....what's not to like :)

that is a very good looking face on that bat, keen to see the profile shots.

nice pronounced grain

Yep - it's a bit weird. To be fair the grip is pretty tough and not to my taste so will be putting something softer over the top......and quite possibly neon!!! :o

Dude, that's been happening for years - I noticed it on my first generation Powerbow in like 2002!

That is one good looking bat you have !

Lots of grains there, both look really good. How much concaving do both bats have?

This is a thread about only one bat

Hi Guys
Had chance to give it a whirl in the nets last night.
The middle is great, seems it's going to need a bit more playing in everywhere else, but right out of the meat - bloody hell !!
The handle is taking quite a bit of getting used to, i thought i would be getting a regular oval bottom, but this one feels more squared and thinner in general, with another grip on, it's not so bad so going to give it a good run in from now on and will report back.
In the meantime here are some more pics for you. Forgive the background destruction in the living room....

Might Have :-[
The T1 Bag is pretty big.
I have to say though that i don't have loads of kit in it and it's pretty much full - just enough room to stash some whites in it. Masuri large 1 x pair of size 13s, legend pads/gloves, 2 bats in cave, aero strippers and arm guard, and usual tat in the sides. It's not like there's acres of space in it - if i were back in my keeping days, and evening carrying a separate keeping lid it'd be a tight squeeze indeed.....that being said, i've never been an economic packer space wise.
....that being said i'm sure i do look a complete t**t lugging it out of the boot !!... One thing they need to do on this bag is put a grab handle AS WELL as, the extending handle hobby. There's one on the bottom of the bag....but can i remember to put it in the boot thin end first...Nope....Would help no end with craning it out.
