Have any of you fella's seen the pics of the new Salix models. I noticed Talent had them up on their website.
I'm not a huge fan of the new minimalist SLX stickers to be honest!!

Hope the pictures work!!

There's a line between minimalist and empty looking to me. They fall onto the empty looking side. Look like they've taken their old stickers and just removed a few parts.
-
The front decal just looks far too small to me!! Not much symmetry either
-
I quite like them, understated and classy imo, and being a salix you know it will be top quality
-
I love the blue stickers - sweet!!
The SLX stickers.....I see where you're coming from! I think I'll have to reserve judgement until I see them in the flesh.

Have Salix nicked MSR's shape? :o

I like the blue as well, think it looks really fresh! I'd like to see the shape of the supernatural in the flesh.

I think the quality of the salix finish coupled with these decals would look fantastic in the flesh.
I like... :)

don't you mean GN, thats how the old GN Powerbow was scooped up at the splice from a few years ago..

I quite like the look of the slx..... I am more of a fan of that than the blue stickers actually

The SLX is stunning in the flesh, trust me. Photos look strange, almost as if the stickers have been photoshopped on to the wood...
Can't wait to get our Salix stock - of all the bats we've picked so far, these really stood out for me... :-)

Ben had a salix that was stickered up in a similar fashion to the SLX when we were at Wormsley this year, different profile but the minimalist stickers that were on it were really tasteful.

Less is more, when it comes to cricket bat stickers

always nice to have a completely unbiased opinion ;)

As always Mr M :)

The SLX is a great bat and as has been said the stickers look amazing and really complement the quality of wood used and the finish on all Salix bats. Also these pick up exceptionally well for a big bat.
Personally my favourite of the range for this year.

I love the reaper stickers. Can someone get me a set?

The SLX is similar to a Duncan Fearnley bat released in the 90's called the Nemesis, does anyone else remember the bat? Perhaps it was an Stuart Sturridge, I believe Lance Klusener used it.

Here`s the thing with stickers, very hard to judge unless you see them in person. Prime example is my Salix torque players bat that I got last year from IJC, I did not like the look of those stickers in pics but Paul assured me they looked good in person, regardless I really wanted to try a Salix, and Paul was right about both the stickers and quality of the bat.
So try and see the stickers in person, or wait for a video review which I find is a little better at showing the real quality of stickers. We were all harsh on GM stickers but they actually do look good, surprised no one has said anything about Gray nics which look okish but could have been better in my opinion.

The shape of the supernatural is very similar to the torque shape, the only difference is the supernatural has a 7mm camber instead of the torque's flatter face.
