That one looks so massive with a huge bulge like no other a61. Is it even a gray nics?

Seen loads of these by aussies. Have England or any other test side done any??

These are made by Sturat as he said himself in the clip, interesting thing which i noticed is that George said that he like light weight bats so i assume that they are 2.8 2.9 or maybe 2.10 but by looking at these guns i understand one thing that players have special kind of willow hehehee.
That must we a very light weight cleft special one, huge piece of wood lol  :(

Gilly was the same.  I saw him choosing a few bats from a box once, went on feel totally, a few waves of the bat and a yes or no.  Choosing 6 bats took 5 minutes.. mind you, he could have batted with pine....

I wonder if any of the makers on here could replicate one of them.

Monster!

To replicate that in 2.10 you'd need something similar to b3s crown grade, plus an oversized one at that!
Probably a rare be cleft indeed.
Would sell by the bucketload. Maybe even a £400 quid bat. God forbid.

Wasted.....although he hits some huge zacs for a modest size guy with limited abilities.

After you explain that you might not even get a season out of one of these bats you might not sell that many. Best bat maker in the world but they are made to perform, not last.

The cbf lot buy a new bat every six months(some of us more frequently) so it doesn't matter it won't last.

Buy a net bat with it and it should last a tad longer.

beast of a bat. Looks like there is no spine near the toe for about 2 inches

Looks a little bit like the Kook Menace profile with a huge "power bulge" on the back in the hitting zone. Playing in Aus on those pitches don't suppose you need any meat towards the toe.

This is particularly pronounced in the bats Warner has been wielding.

Its definitely not a typical A61 shape. I had one and it was nothing like that monster. Looks very similar to the Aussie Legend shape though, which is said to be the players shape.

I think it looks a bit like a mongoose with a big spine added. Something of the hunts insignia about it as well but the toe is so much thicker. Looks like a SSH handle and a thin one at that.

Very flat toe on that bat. I think some of the old Slaz bats we shaped like? And the 'Tusker' bats?

Just noticed this topic now.

Have been looking for a bat for a while now with this exact shape!! Will obviously need to be custom, but can anyone replicate or produce a bat similar to this? Looks similar to a Laver

I'm not fussed about edge sizes, but needs to have minimal concaving, good pickup and max 2.10.

Budget around 300Pound inc Shipping to Australia.

If anyone can point me in the right direction to obtain a bat very similar to this, it would be very much appreciated.

Cheers!  :)

If you've got $A550 why not consider a Screaming Cat, based in Qld.

I didn't know Julian made custom profiles. Just thought you could only choose from the various models listed. Is it worth giving him a shout?

Really keen to get this same profile. Probably pay up to 600 AUD for an exact copy in top grade willow

I'm sure anyone on jeer, red ink, rk etc, plus likes of b3 will make that shap and ship to aus.

I've heard due to prices, for a top end bat, it'd work out cheaper anyway.

Yeh bats in Australia are way overpriced. For the price of a grade 1 in the UK, you may only get a G2 here. I know that SCATS are awesome bats but I can't justify paying 725 AUD for the top grade or are they really worth it? Im not about the looks, all about performance
