Sounds like just another topic but i have heard that Heartwood should be on the inside edge? Any reason for this? Are there any PROVEN! Benifits of Heartwood?
-
It should be in the outside edge, because it is more brittle and good players hit the inside edge more than the outside edge.
-
it came up as i was thinking as i watched the ODI that both Shah and Morgan had it on their inside edges and i was sure id heard that before, any benifits of it ?

I take that as a compliment mike, seeing as both my bats have tiny cracks on the inside edge !
