Purchased one of these from amazon following an alert on this forum to a bargain opportunity.

The item was supplied direct by amazon, rather than from a third party selling on their website.

Price was less than £100 delivered. Decent value. The offer ceased promptly.

Weight is 2lb 8oz and the edge size is hovering under 40mm.

7 very straight grains, with an eighth just on the edge, few blemishes front or back, minor marks.

The grains are also consistent on the back of the bat, too, which is always a good sign.

I wanted to pick up on the bargain offer too, but missed it.

How does it perform btw? Decent ping??

The bat hasn't had the Kookaburra Pre-Prepared treatment so is not knocked in at all.

Thought this was standard, in every other way the bat is as expected including the stamps on the shoulder and the sticker under the grip.

Feels decent off the mallet. Plenty of wood behind the ball for the weight, too.

Cool.. look forward to your review as to how it performs in the nets/match.

Happy that you got one with decent balance. The one I am playing with and which I bought online is bottom heavy.
