open up the shoulder with a Stanley knife water some pva down and use a brush to work it into the crack then eithr using a clamp or twine bind it really tight, I would put some mesh tape on it too to hold it, but you shouldn't hit that high up[ the should again....... also next time rather than trying to hit cover off the ball, try to place it for 4 ;-)

As said, I'd glue clamp, and then tape that.
The area it's in wouldn't worry me too much.

If you want to ensure if doesnt separate completely if hit again in the future stick a couple of dowel rods into it and glue/clamp it.
-
glue clamp and a decent amount of tape
-
Just glued and clamped, lets see what happens, will leave it clamped till tomorrow....

ah that is a proper clamp mate! that will repair nicely, how long did it take to knock the TON in ?

Yeah, I don't think anything could possibly break that with that much tape

I think you'll find that's twine mate

Hey guys, yesterday used the TON for the first time since the repair...
scored 28 runs, no vibrations at all and it goes like a rocket...
It seems its a good repair, hope to continue scoring runs...
