Keep the newer grille, the design has grown on me and is more likely to keep that jaw in one piece.

Have to agree , the design and protection is much better on the elite so keep that one , in my opinion.

Get with the program, you will have to throw them both in the bin, because the geniuses on this site declared that Masuri is Asian made rubbish and is now illegal.
P.S. I personally think either grill will serve you well. The latest model probably gives slightly more protection.

I already wear Masuri and when they wear out, I will be wearing Shrey because despite all the BS emanating from the UK with your nanny state laws and protectionism for British manufacturing, the world does not give a fat rats clacker about your fictitious "standards".
Shrey will be the biggest helmet manufacturer inside two years thanks to Masuri abandoning production in Jalandhar.
I am certain that the lies and distortions will have no impact on companies like Shrey, Forma etc.
I will be proven correct.

Your upset the UK has tried to increase the safety of helmets? Yeah damn them for that! :D
I don't know much about Shrey, having a quick look they seem to be the indian equivilent/knock off of Masuri? Did they make Masuri lids but now Masuri has pulled out of Jalandhar they decided to continue production under a different brand?
Edit: Have since read the thread on Shrey Helmets and don't wish to reignite the argument that went on in this thread. Still debating whether to ask questions I have in the Shrey thread.

I am not sure I agree.
Shrey will not be able to sell lids through retailers in the UK and it is likely that Aus, SA and NZ will adopt similar standards in the fullness of time (i.e. within 12-18 months). They may have to if the new British Standard is adopted by the (very much global, but UK based) MCC - like the wearing of helmets for all those Under 18.
So while Masuri will suffer at the start - once they evolve their design to something better they will be back.
My personal position on the new masuri lids is similar to yours Vic, but I believe that Albion and the other helmet companies will come up with a better design to meet these new requirements.
