Sums up Englands batsman. Broken...
-
James Laver said on Facebook it's cause by strong winds leaving minute cracks in the willow when it's young. Storm Damage it's called apparently
-
yeah id say storm damage as well as possibly over drying it.
my main match bat has storm damage across the blade its not done this tho in 2 seasons!

Loved Haddin saying this into the sump mic
"It's a Gray Nic, viewers, he's just got stickers on it. It's not a Kookaburra, it's just a Gray-Nicolls."
-
I was just thinking, the last two big bash games I've watched Mike Hussey play he has broke a bat each game, not great advertising for Kookaburra
-
You could make a kiddies bat out if that that what I would do I I was in the business re make all broken bats into children's bats
-
If that was Carberry's favorite bat I bet he had a little cry when he went back to the pavilion haha

Nah, he'll just get another batch when he's back. Can't see pros getting attached to their bats given they get so many and change brands regularly for a bit of cash
-
Well every batsman must have a favorite bat even though they change brands every so often

Clarke's bat looks like it's been repaired more than a car in Cuba!
