Title: Puma or Kookaburra?
Post by: Quirkey101 on September 27, 2009, 11:29:26 PM
Which keeping gear are generally better in ur opinion? Kook brad haddins and silvers or ballistic and iridium 6000's?

Both are similar. most keepers choose puma so the general consensus is that Puma are the best for WK gear but this is mainly down to them being the first to introduce flextechs. Despite that, I can only go for kookaburra as the first wk gloves I used had Aussie style cuffs and the English style ones look like gauntlets now ::)

Wisden rates them both highly. Iridium WK pads got wk pad of the year and Kook silver gloves got glove of the year. But both were 5* rated. You have to wonder though, why Salix (also 5*) are above puma AND kookaburra - they didn't win glove of pad of the year and it cant be alphabetical either. guess it supports my point though  ;D

The Puma pads are better than kookas, but the kook gloves are better than the pumas, so why not mix and match?
