Title: New toys!

So being injured and the thought of not playing cricket makes me do weird things! I bought my self 2 new bats in the hope of being fit again sooner than expected!
First is a newbery TT 5*
Weight: 2.7
6 grains quite straight ones I thought for a 5* so very happy with that one!
Secondly a gm octane original
Weight also 2.7
With 7 grains and this bat in my opinion just looks huge! For it's weight, just thought I'd share some pictures and see what your thought were :)

The Gm looks a big bat for 2.7?

I was very shocked at how light the gm picks up and the size of it for 2.7!

that octane got a massive edge.... how is it only 2lb 7...

The octanes I've come across have the worlds smallest handles to save weight.

The 3 I've played with was like having a twig in my hand.
