Hi guys, after browsing through pro direct for a little while I finally came across something I liked ! I saw the Newbery Uzi for only 116 pounds, it didn't take me long to click purchase and not long after I found out that because I lived in Aus the Uzi would only cost me 99 pounds :D After hearing about Pro Directs sometimes shoddy service I was a bit wary of how long it would take them to ship it over, to my surprise the bat was delivered to my doorstep after 3 days so well done Pro Direct :)
The Bat itself is the Uzi 20/20 version which is perfect for me as I dont mind a bit of a slog haha. It has 5 grains, yes 5 whole grains and a few blemishes but after tapping it up with a mallet it could have 2 grains for all I care as the noise of the mallet is superb. Sorry for my horrible pics as the camera I own isn't the greatest

thanks alot for that mate :D

One of the best performing newbery bats i have seen a friend playing with was Uzi with 5 grains 2lb 8oz from prodirect. Top top response from that Uzi bat.
Enjoy your bat :)

Looks a good bat , for that price and that brand you cannot really go wrong. All the newbery's I have seen go like a gun, I known I own one. Good luck with it and who cares about the grains as at that price you just want it to perform. Hope you score many runs with it.

Did you pay any custom fees?
I got a bat through DPD service and had to pay ridiculous amounts of duty
around 40% of the bat price.

No worries mate. Nice bat by the way, especially for a 5 star. What does it weigh?

sorry for my lack of exact knowledge but the courier had it delivered so I'm fairly certain it wasn't Aus Post

How much is shipping to Aus/NZ on pro direct.
-
Very cheap actually when your comparing it to other places, i suspect because they're such a big company but shipping is only $17.78 to AUS/NZ

When I got the bat ( i live in Canada) It went through so many couriers that i had to pay a lot of duty. And when
I wanted to take a look at the charge they simply did not have any invoice.
(I got an email prior to their final release of the bat). Maybe it is different in Aus.
Anyways, great looking bat especially knowing that bats in Aus can be very expensive.
