Natural product, means that this will happen.

I'm just happy to see gray nics are a company happy to show that this happens. Most would probably hide the fact and sweep it under the carpet.

Just got my latest refurb back from GN today and I have also had the FibreTec sheet added despite requesting the ExtraTec, there was a note on the receipt though explaining that they had done this for "extra protection to the repair and to prolong the life of the bat". The inside edge was smashed to bits just near the GN branded bit and had a small piece missing, so more than happy for the FibreTec to be put on the old girl.

Great repair as usual by GN!

Did notice this small gap appearing on the back of the bat though, I'm assuming this is nothing to worry about.  This bat will probably become my spare for the coming season anyway.

How long do these critical surgeries hold on for? Do these bats survive for a season minimum?

The toe protector bandage has just reminded me of my old GN Elite, had one on it that lasted the life of the bat.
