Title: Asics or New Balance?

I'm looking at getting a new pair of bowling boots and was all set to get a pair of Asics speed menace, however I also like the look of the New Balance CK4040's. Anyone tried either of them?

Haven't tried either but I have Gel Advance 4's (2013) and they're great. Very lightweight and the supports and cushioning is also good. Hope this helps...

Love my gel advance 4s!!!!

However with shoes it's a difficult one to base on opinion. All our feet will be differently shaped, sized and contoured.

If you can get to a shop which has both then would do you best to try each on see which feels best i'd imagine.

I'm sure the forum sponsors will be able to give you more info on each shoe which may help your decision.

Personally I am an Asics fan, but did hear/read somewhere (but l can't remember where) that the former Asics designer is doing NB now so expect decent boots.
