Title: County Professional Insignia - info?

alright chaps, acquired this recently from a neighbors attic and am in search of some/any information on it!
the handle and blade are a good 2/3 inches bigger than a standard SH and I cant find mention of anything like it anywhere.  Is stamped with R on the handle and a B on the toe.

so if anyone has any insight on age? who could have made it? was it a custom for someone? has it any value? it would be much appreciated.

It's certainly a left handers bat. Never seen one of those models before.

Send Steve a message at hunts county bats, not sure where they were based as I live in st Neots but they are now hunts county as they are based 10 miles up road in Huntingdon. Email address for them is on their website, they would be interested in that, I'd say it's probably a very nice bat.

Pre 1980's.

County went bust and became Hunts County in around '83.

Seventies or earlier. Surprised wood is so light in colour. Perhaps never oiled?
