Post by: aman on October 06, 2009, 01:55:56 PM
iv just noticed im not sure if its just me but it seems to me
that i see alot of pros when on the back foot
they dont realy go back and a cross they just go back towards middle stump
especialy tendulkar and ponting
im not sure it is just me but does anyone know why?

There is nought wrong with that technique. You just need a super eye.

pointing doesnt need to go back at all to pull, its realy because of there hands and eyes, ponting has incredible hands, and so does sachin, we can only watch

It depends where you feel comfortable pulling from,  if you like to pull from directly under your eyes then just rock back and play the shot, if you like to pull off the hip the go back and across......
