Purchased a used Hits Hard Mojo Super bat earlier today.
First impressions are very favourable indeed.
Weighs in at 2lb 10oz exactly and feels good in the hands.
Will tidy it up cosmetically tomorrow and upload some photographs.
-
did you get it second hand Alan ?
-
Yes
-
you are local to Salix too I take it, who do you play for ?
-
Not too local to Salix, about an hour's drive.
Based and play in Essex (would prefer not to name my club), know Kent fairly well though and visit people there from time to time.
Some photos of the bat will be uploaded shortly.
-
nicely done Alan look forward to seeing them
-
Here's the first batch, endeavoured to capture the texture of the labels plus the grains through the toe.
The grip was applied at Salix yesterday hence why this looks brand new.
Other angles not possible quite yet as one of the rear labels is loose. Will try and re-apply this, otherwise it would look a little tatty.
Have lost the daylight today so hopefully can try again tomorrow.

Looks like a nice one mate. Did you grab this from eBay or something?

A few more (in low light conditions).

Reckon it was bought from a team mate of yours.
Had arranged a visit to Kent and was dropping off some cricket gear he had bought from me on ebay.
Was offered this bat. All a bit spur of the moment. No buyers remorse yet, though!

Will send a PM.

Long version review of this model by Paul at IJC coincidentally uploaded to You Tube today.

Nice work Al. I've got one of these, and it's a bit tasty. Very pingy, but with a great pickup.
I'm poo, but a couple of other forum members have used it and rated it as pretty darn good!
-
Your mojo is indeed very active and ensures major thrust status in my book my feline friend!
It was an exciting evening spent with your wood!
-
Really nice bats them love the stickers and from a great stable no doubt.

Great texture, really impressive!

Further photographs to share. Managed to stick the rear label down enough for these. Probably will have to be remove it though (and maybe the other two) as it is on the spine of the bat. A vulnerable position, once it has lifted it's not going to stick back smoothly again.
I have waxed the toe enhancing the grain definition.

You mean you've actually used it now? (swoons). If it's the one I've seen it is a belter indeed. Best pick up bar none IMO.
-
some great pics there might have to do a photoshoot of my bats !
-
Certainly have Trypeus, just needs a little more knocking in.
Big Al, would it be rude to post pics of mine on this thread?

Fattus, yes that's exactly the thoughts here, too.
The bat is almost too advanced for what I would use it for.
That said, it is an ideal weight and if I can manipulate my bat portfolio to use it this year, I will.

Thanks for asking.
If it's the same bat model, by all means hit us hard.

Stand back everyone! - For the faint hearted, you might want to be sitting down - some of you on a block of ice...

C'mon you tease, we are still waiting for the pics!
-
Will do in minute.
Mrs Fattus was away for the evening so I have to clear the bed of beer cans, pizza slices, petroleum jelly and two small Phillipino prostitutes before I can start my day.
-
Right, here we go - no fancy photo skills like Big Al I'm afraid :

May not be everyones cup of tea, but she's a cheeky 2.8lbs with a lot of meat in the profile and picks up really light. Early indications are that she pings quite nicely, and as I say - better bats than me have used her against bowling machine and reckon she's a goer.
Far too good for me, but I'll take all the help I can get!!
-
Nice chest freezer!!
-
That's a beauty fat one....
Good to have friends in the know :)
-
Thanks matey - still looking good. No complaint on the pics other than they just can't do this bat justice. Having seen it in the flesh it's a bit of a monster for the weight and picks up sooooo light it's untrue. - If you find it too light can I be first in the queue please?
-
Fattus, your Mojo is indeed a beautiful piece, just look at the grains running through the toe. Performance on top? Perfect.
-
Fattus is this the one you had at the Croydon Net? ???
-
Whoo yeah baby - can't wait to try it out on hard balls and see what it goes like.
-
You can't wait to whack your wood against hard balls so you get a feel for your mojo? My, My, fattus 😮
