My 6 year old Fusion succumbed to external damage in our nets last night. She lost a chunk of wood from her inside edge, she was still pinging the ball to her last. RIP. Time for the young fusion to step up, big shoes to fill.

Hurting.. especially if you had her for a 6-year period

6 years is a long relationship. I'm sure you have some fond memories together ;)

6 years! That's a long time, but you are new to cbf.
Welcome to the world of 6 bats per year......

if you don't catch 'Hosk'-itus. If so, that Fusion won't see as much play time as your last one.

This.
I was a steady relationship one bat man before I joined this forum.
2 years later my eyes have been opened and I now chase after any young willow that catches my eye.
You have been warned and the propsed young Fusion will need to know there will be a bevy of beauties waiting to satisfy your cravings. :o

Thanks Gents, she was a beaut, the best bat I've had. No repairs other than a refurb 2 years ago. Now seeing out her days in my kit bag, just along for the ride. :D
I think you might be right about collecting numerous bats, looking at the bat makers ranges is addictive. I fear its too late ;)

Sounds like a keeper though? I have one from the 1980's - just like looking at it every now and then!

Why do I have an image of you sitting on your bed, staring wistfully at a black and white picture of a cricket bat" Like you would of a picture of an ex girlfriend, remembering the good times....
