Title: just purchased this from ebay... a good deal?

Haha I think that is unlikely regardles of how good the bat is ;)

Post by: amritpremi on February 22, 2014, 04:57:46 PM: Looks like a chunky bat for the weight but to me it has less grains to make it to players grade (only cosmetically). Still looks a decent stick for the amount paid.

Ahaha yeah, we came second last year...
Liam SCCC on here plays for us aswell, he was last years captain but has relinquished the role this year...

Ah right it can be pretty hard work, I've taken over the 3s this year, our skip was only allowed 1 year (his wife won that battle!).

Am I right in thinking you had a few of you who scores most of the runs and then took most of the wickets? I remember being bowled out for not very many on a pretty helpful wicket at your place!

Haha this has to be Nick! Yes I was very tempted. The thruxton was only available in 2 12 and above. Online stockist was tempting but I want to learn a bit more before taking the plunge and this was a safe option. Thanks for all the advice! No doubt I'll pick your brains again!

Let me know if you want to make an order for a CA bat, I think if you buy direct from CA they do the Plus 15000 bats for £155 posted (ish). I'm not sure what the latest prices are though.
