Title: X6000?
Post by: tailender on March 01, 2014, 11:36:11 AM
Stumbled across X6000 on a recent topic posted by a guy who was explaining, or rather trying to sell, x6000 as an 'explosive' performance enhancing agent.

Has anyone got or used a bat that has been treated with this? also, is this an actual product or just another useless invention by Lekka?

Ive had a quick scan of the Lekka facebook page and it is just awash with photo-shopped photos and mental marketing so I am just wondering whether this x6000 is just another con?

Ive tried to search online for 'x6000' but all I come across is in-car cameras and hockey sticks  >:(

Tim2000s said it will be either glue or linseed oil.

Well, on his FB page, he has a picture of E6000 glue, I would bet he has changed the E to an X to make it sound better.

That's exactly what I was thinking mate because as you say, on his FB is says E6000, but all other branding begins with an X (X-trax, X-croc) etc.

Probably just pva glue rebranded and sold at silly prices.

Just wanted to see if anyone had used it.... it may even be good old H2O!!! James says his bats are treated with it but how do we know? could be a load of S*@t

Its some clever marketing.... x6000 is actually the amount of hits James's FB page has had since the earlier topic was created ;)

Might also be an extra thin resin that would absorb into the wood similar to Ronseal Wet Rot Treatment ........... but it's probably just PVA thinned down.
