Title: Slazenger V600 Pro (2013)
Post by: AlanB on March 03, 2014, 09:50:41 PM
Arrived today and will post pictures this week.

2lb 9oz, good honest Grade 2 willow (not G2 masquerading as G1), 40 mm edges, quite a lot of concaving, decent finish on the bat which is pleasing to see.

It is also very white (don't think it is bleached), so will give it a light coat of wax soon, too. Haven't tapped it yet. It's not pre-knocked in.

Sounds nice Alan, I hAd a V100 extreme that was very white, and didn't take linseed oil very well, but I don't think that was bleached either.

here are the photographs, a little under exposed purposely to show the detail of the face.

Have now applied a decent coat of linseed oil to the face, let's see how the bat reacts to this.

Looks like a nice stick!

You will have to let us know how it opens up.

cant grumble at £75 for that.Hope it goes well. My only issue with Slazenger bats are that the panther sticker always comes up off the spine
