Alright Lads,
After about 2 years looking for one of these huge duffle bags I finally managed to get one, and I can say with confidence I'm over the moon! The quality is outstanding on par with the newbery tour bag stitching so will last a very long time - however this was expected given the England team are given them to tour with. The zips are heavy duty and I can see them breaking anytime soon. There are two outside pockets on the bag which are both huge and don't seem to make any impact on the main compartment space which was a problem with my Salix duffle - both pockets carry through the full length of the bag so are quite tall, I'm sure I could find a use for these however at the minute they are modeled by a sidearm (as pictured). The straps are reinforced and are very well padded, featuring a velvet material on the inside to help with comfort. Also there are 2 pads were the bag sits when your carrying it (on the top of your back and bottom of your back) that are also velvet padded. Now onto the main section, the entry hole is huge ;) making it easy to retrieve items and put items in the bag. There is also two internal bat sleeves that are padded as modeled in the picture. I was told I would be able to fit a katchet board in, which I found hard to believe but to my surprise it caters it and the rest of my kit. Keeping kit can easily be fitted in and can be seen in the pictures. The bag is immensely light weight and considering the size I'm amazed it feels as light as my Salix duffle :o
Enjoy the pics lads,
Cheers
Tony

Robin has one himself and is very pleased with it.
The similarities with the TON Gladiator duffle are striking. But to me the TON duffle bag is a bit sturdier, and is much more wallet friendly at £40 ;)

How does it comapre size wise to the Newbury Tour or the aero stand up, i love my tour bag but it doesnt fit in most peoples boots or is easy to lug around. Is this smaller, more compact enough to make a significant difference without losing too much room for kit.
-
It's a tad smaller than the newbery tour bag I have and isn't as wide, however I can fit just as much kit in this as I can with the tour bag!
-
Where did you get !!! I've been searching for years :O

57 watchers,id get buying now.As soon as the quantity goes under 10 they will fly
-
I'm tempted by one of these. Have so far failed to find a bag for match days that will fit all kit in. Reason i need a duffel s my ayrtek bag (which i really like) is too big for the car by the time ive got the wife and kids (and all of their associated bags/prams etc in). Im not suggesting this is small but seems it may be what im looking for
-
As soon as I get home I think I'll get one. Anyone know where I can get the big proper one from? Fancy one of them too
-
Do u mean the England coffin mate as they are also on there:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Adidas-England-Player-Issue-XL-Cricket-Chest-Wheelie-Bag-rrp-300-Huge-V-Rare-/371005338067?pt=UK_Tickets_Travel_Luggage_CA&hash=item5661a431d3 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Adidas-England-Player-Issue-XL-Cricket-Chest-Wheelie-Bag-rrp-300-Huge-V-Rare-/371005338067?pt=UK_Tickets_Travel_Luggage_CA&hash=item5661a431d3)
The duffle is massive and will fit all your kit into it whilst still fitting into the boot of my A4 estate and leaving plenty of space for other stuff, the coffin is obviously hard sided and fills up the majoirty of boot space and prob fits the same amount of kit in it as the duffle.
I have been informed adidas are working on a range of bags for their range for next year so would expect these to be launched at Lords in sept.
-
Cheers Tom. I think I'll have one of them too. Reward for my week of hard work.
-
No worries, very robust and built to withstand the rigmaroles of being thrown around the airports whilst on tour so will hopefully last a few cricket seasons over here from being put in and out of a car boot and dragged through car parks to changing rooms.
-
I've gone for one of these, looking forward to getting it and fitting all of my kit in for a change :)
-
I may have over indulged in a duffle and main one :)
Opps
-
just order the duffle bag, it look huge, cant wait to get it
-
Want the big one very badly but its still a lot of money to justify when I already have 3 perfectly good bags. May be a few items up for sale soon tonfund one of these bad boys. Does it have bat compartments?
-
Yeah it has 2 bag tunnels
-
I got my duffle today, delivered the day after ordering so pretty impressed. Bag quality is very good, zips are huge and look like they will last. The amount of space is huge too - for the money it's a good deal IMO
-
Just got the coffin since It will be good for carrying it on board on the plane and use it back home. This bag is quite big but it is not as flexible as like the gm original deplux wheelie because with all the hard board protecting the inner compartment, but it got 3 individual pocket inside. Unfortunately they don't have a bat cave which is not that good compare to the duffle which got 2 separate bat cave.... but overall this bag isn't bad at all but maybe slightly expensive....

Still prefer the TON one, especially now Robin's Adidas failed on only it's 4th use.

That's gutting with any bag, but when you've paid that much!
-
Tell him to send it back mate, I was chatting with the retailer who I got mine from and they said they are very heavy duty and are supposed to last...so obviously this is a bag that should have been stopped at quality control - I'd be very dissapointed mate!
-
Yes it will be going back for sure. The wheelie bag seems very good indeed, but I still stick by my comments that the duffle just seems to be an inferior variant of the TON one that we sell for much less.
Haven't had a single complaint from roughly 25 TON duffles sold so far.
-
The TON duffle sounds a very nice bag jake! I'll also be getting a wheelie bag once I manage to sell my newbery tour bag
-
Now when I wish t buy it, I can't find it anywhere.
Any help lads?

@richie2015simpson I very much doubt you will get one unless someone is selling Second hand. New Balance take over sponsorship next year.
-
Sports Warehouse snaffled up the last of the ones pictured earlier in the thread and sold them off via eBay 2 years ago now, I've only got my duffle and suitcase style bag left now that stores all my kit in that's in storage currently.

Have a word with Duckett, Batty, Answari or Ballance. Don't think any of them will be needing theirs anymore!!

Looking forward to this!
