Title: for the very first time - Dukes very own Cricket Website!
Post by: musama91 on October 12, 2009, 04:14:11 PM
Dukes have launched a new website -

http://www.dukescricket.co.uk/dukes/Home.html (http://www.dukescricket.co.uk/dukes/Home.html)

When I bought the stuff from Morrr@nt, they said they owned dukes and I told them to get a website and some contact links because there was nothing available, and voilà, they have listened!

Its their 250th Birthday this year! GM go one about 100+ years of experience but they just got dwarfed lmao!

From the history page...

HISTORY     The origins of DUKES cricket ball making can be traced back to the year 1760 when production started in the Tonbridge area of Kent. The skills have been refined and handed down through the generations. The same meticulous care and attention is paid to all the traditional processes in addition to new technology to ensure that products of the highest standard are made available for the game at all levels today. Only the very best raw materials are used to protect the brand’s reputation for top quality.

Who makes them now?

looks like a pretty profenssional webiste, i doubt that they made it just because ONE person told them too, they would have been planning it all ready

"i tell them i would like a website" - you have a very high opinion of yourself if you believe dukes will concede to the demands of a man who sells kashmir adidas bats on ebay

Musa the website was mentioned at Lord's, which was days before you went to Morrant.

ok guys. it was a perfectly reasonable explanation though!

shilly shilly how do you know i sell adidas bats on ebay? is the same id? i knew i shouldnt have kept it the same for just about everything I register for lol.

for the record though - i did not intend on selling fake adidas kw bats on ebay -
I rang up a company in India and told them i wanted Adidas Incurza county bats, assuming i would get g2 ew bats. they came and were kw but when i rang them again, they said that Incurza county bats also refer to bottom of the range kw bats - which was true. Thus, I was stuck with 8 bats, which i had to offload as none of my mates were going to get these ones. I hope this will deter you from trying to tarnish my reputation next time in the future
