Hi all just wondering what the best glue is to use is when replacing the handle as I'm currently replacing one on my friends old bat thanks
-
PVA mate, put it on the inside of the splice and the handle, put it in and bind tightly for 24 hours while it dries
-
Thanks I was thinking about using gorilla pva wood glue anyone had any experience with it?

I can vouch for Gorilla PVA - a very good bat maker uses exactly that.

I've got some irwin clamps that's say they've got 70kg pressure do people think this is enough to clamp it with ?

PVA glue on both the splice and the handle as previously stated tighten clamp screw until clamp cannot move, try not to over tighten as clamp can create pressure marks and splits. If possible place thin rubber or similar in clamp jaws prior to tightening.leave for 24 hours before removing clamp.
