Post by: Cover_Drive on March 16, 2014, 05:28:47 AM
Just saw this, whilst Strippers are their invention, are these bootlegged and cheap version of them?

These are £20.99 on the ECB website.

The size only had Youths or Mens, no dexterity. Are these ambidextrous (and is that why they're called switcher)?

I'd guess no seeing they have RH stamped on them.

With a name like Switcher, maybe the other side has LH?

Just a quick note about the SwitcheR...

This is a product that for wider commercial reasons we have made exclusively in the UK for Sports Direct and its associated websites.

The SwitcheR is an entry level lower body protection product designed to appeal to athletes who want the benefit of a decent front and rear thigh pad without necessarily haveing to invest in buying Strippers.

And yes, it is ambidextrous.

I assume you just wear it inside out for Left Handed?

It is fully reversible - there is no inside or out.

That's a good idea from a manufacturing point of view :)

I've just placed a Pre-Order for one, possibly for use in matches when you can do with light gear for innings endurance

Anyone tried these? How do they compare to the Strippers?

Received my pre order of these 2 days ago, ordered them as the p1/p2 are a bit bulky for me. Have to say they feel really comfortable and fit nicely. The foam is thicker than i thought it would be, but I think that's a bonus
