Okay, I don't know about anyone else, but I really don't know why England are playing in Orange in the T20I, and frankly I think it's grim... Blue or White and Red for me please...

And have you seen how badly it clashes with Bell and Morgan???

Errr any pics???
Why do cricket teams change there kit so much??
-
Orange? you sure you're not watching the Netherlands game?? :D
-
Haha love the way Bell looks particularly displeased with his!
-
That is minging! Don't need floodlights with that clobber!
-
Looks a bit Hi-Vis to me! Hope there aren't too many insects out there or with that lovely orange they'll be around the players like flies on s***!
-
Lol. Bell hasnt plaued in 4 years. Wasnt in 30man squad.
But
poster boy for the new kit!!!
-
You are actually kidding me?!
Blue preferably, I don't really mind what shade (although I wish we'd go back to the World Cup '92 light blue), or red at a push, but orange? Nah.
Bell looks like he refused to wear it, was drugged and is just coming round. Eoin Morgan's happy 'cos he knows the new ODI kit is in Waitrose corporate colours - green...
-
According to the ECB's twitter account it's red...
Apparently a shade called Solar Red!

That press release is right up there with The FA calling England's 90s grey shirt indigo. It was grey. No other word for it. And that, ECB, is orange. Officially tango'd...

Funny, according to the Daily Fail/Adidas, it's called Fiery Red...

In the same way Ginger Birds call themselves 'Fiery Redheads' When they're just angry rangas?
-
England strip should be red and white, probably a dodgy cameraman ... they need Simmy to do it. Why is the collar black, it should be white.
Why do people want blue ........... this is no blue in a st georges cross.
-
Solar Red is the official colour pantone description, I saw this back in October at a Broad/Bell/Anderson photoshoot and its very vibrant but probably not as orange as is displayed in these photos when you see it in person.
the shirts use metal technology in the rear neck section to cool the body as well apparently, material tech taken across from tennis apparel.
-
Maybe Dernbach's fake tan got into the wash?!?
-
Apparently the "black" on the collar and the trousers are Nightshade blue...
-

Yes, very true - but compared with England's other kit wearers, he has a fantastic technique...

If those shirts are Solar Red, then Morgan and Bell are Strawberry Blondes!
-
yuck!
-
I thought easy jet were the new sponsors when i saw it but see waitrose is on the sleeve
-
certainly not the right colour for england but i want one would match my netherlands hat that i wear.
the other thing about the kit that annoys me is their odi kit. the shirt is red and the hat is blue just seems to me like they couldn't be bothered to order new hats with the new shirts would look better in red or my opinion
-
Why can't they just play in Red and White?!?! Every other country plays in their nations' colours - why we have to be different is beyond me - just keep it simple!!
-
It's madness, what's wrong with the current red they're using in the one day strip? Madness!
-
Well it is certainly..... different

Has someone has put some Waitrose logos on a few Guantanamo Bay jumpsuits! :o
Ian Bell genuinely looks sad! Like one of those kids off the British Red Cross adverts...
"Ian is a test match batsman struggling for his place in a T20 world. For just £2 a month, even Ian can have a kit made by someone who doesn't have a chronic eye disorder...".
Whoever is making decisions at the ECB has dropped the ball again. Simply awful.
-
And you can have one for yourself for the princely sum of £36.99!

Think I'll pass!
-
I really don't like it.I must say I prefer us in blue. My favourite ones are the admiral 2002(flintoff shirt waving in india) or more recently the adidas 2012 odi home series v south africa
-
Think I'll pass!
I won't be purchasing anytime soon.

Someone take Ian's carton of orange Umbongo.
This make Ian sad!
seriously? Some people are not meant to look mean and moody!
-
It's a disguise ;)
-
That is just his 'I'm in front of the camera' face i believe.

To be fair, I'd look that miserable if I had a small Kookaburra sign spiking my gonads!
-
I like the style but not the colour, who reckons that haven't changed there pads so yet will be proper red and look crap with this colour!
-
Cripes, they've all been Tangoed!
-
At the risk of getting panned here, I don't mind it. Will save final judgement until I see it in something other than press release photos, but I reckon it looks OK.

Same I quite like it...
An improvement on the current limited overs strip...
-
So if they change the ODI shirt to green to accommodate Waitrose,
The test shirt will be white ofcourse, the odi green and t20 orange. Playing into hands of the tricolor folk are they not? Shouldn't the just take all irish players (you know instead of the keen ones)
:D I might like England if the have green and white haha

I quite like it but I'll reserve judgement until I see it being worn for a game....

even though the flag is white/red/blue, Australia play with yellow I think because of their national flower or something.
Don't know where Black came from for NZ either.
-
It isn't that bad...
-

"I call it 'Ginger Steel'" :D

NZ will be from the All Blacks
Why can't England just be in actual Red and White!! haha
-
It's very bright...
Looks orange from some angles, red from others, and looks cack worth yhe blue trousers.
Not a fan...
-
whatever it looked online it looks much better on field today, not the best but surely better than the orange we saw.
-

Yeah, but where did the all blacks black come from originally?
-

It still looks orange from some camera angles, it's strange!
-
Indian players, the pitch, the umpires, all look fine,
The England shirts look as if my Telly's brightness is too high, and they have a slight hue around them.

Been on the Ready Brek...
Keep them cool, apparently. Don't keep them from posting sub-par totals or make them hit straight though does it...
-
I didn't see any of the warm up games with us wearing this shirt. I thought they were bright in the promo pictures but my god, it looks crazily bright. I might be tempted to turn the brightness down on my tv when we are in the field.
-
They look stupidly bright on the stump cam (and rather bright from every other angle too)
-
i like them, something different, i seem to be the only one though :/
-
I don't know whats wrong with them at all either. Its 20/20 its a bit of hit and giggle why not have a bright shirt? At least its not one of the horrible sublimated abominations like Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
-
I actually love it and would even buy it for nets wear!
-

"Yellow, that's Australian Gold my friend, and don't you forget it." :D (quote Billy Birmingham, or something like that).
-
I wonder if the batsmen get distracted with that bright colour.
I like the blue trackpants though.
-
Personally last years red ODI and T20 kit was bright enough....This years is horrible imo
The blue 2012 one has been the best T20/ODI kit in recent years
-
Just when you thought it couldnt get worse than the Red/Orange T20 shirt i present to you the new Blue ODi shirt:
http://store.ecb.co.uk/adidas-england-odi-shirt-mens-331031?colcode=33103190 (http://store.ecb.co.uk/adidas-england-odi-shirt-mens-331031?colcode=33103190)
Absolutly horrendous colour.
Lots of imagination also spent on the new test shirt:
http://store.ecb.co.uk/adidas-england-test-shirt-mens-331033?colcode=33103301 (http://store.ecb.co.uk/adidas-england-test-shirt-mens-331033?colcode=33103301)
Just looks like a Polo shirt
-
I like both those shirts.
-
Any ideas what trousers will be worn with the ODI shirt?
-
Really love that blue color :)
-
I quite like it, very plain though

-
That blue is much closer to the early nineties England coloured one day kit.

I like them all, the t20 fits in with the idea of t20, loud and vibrant, the lighter blue i thnkk stands out from every other nations kit and the test shirt is plain and simple look very classy and cant wait to see the boys running out in it!!
-
Got to admit, I like it. The light blue is very nice.

Navy blue again I would think
-
Blue looks good... not as good as green and gold but good :D
-
Navy blue again I would think
Light blue tops and navy blue trousers, that could look interesting
-
I love a bit of green and gold.. :D
-
As much as I admire their deli counter and fine wines section, I doesn't seem that cool to be running around with 'Waitrose' across your chest.
It makes them look like Ocado drivers.
-
I love a bit of green and gold.. :D
Good lad ;)
