Hi All, I've got a set of Puma Iridium High Top bowling boots which are missing quite a few spikes.
Link to model of boots on Aswani: http://www.aswanicricket.co.uk/puma-iridium-ii-mid-cut-full-spike-cricket-shoes-7627-p.asp (http://www.aswanicricket.co.uk/puma-iridium-ii-mid-cut-full-spike-cricket-shoes-7627-p.asp)
I need to replace the whole set, anyone had these boots before, or retailers out here to advise me if I can use any generic spikes or do these boots require specific types of spikes?
Advice is very much appreciated.

I'm 99% sure you could use any spikes on the market. I had a fair few pairs of boots and always used precision training spikes off eBay and they've been fine. I think all spikes are generic except for asics strike rate as they are pins not spikes. I know a guy who has previously used the plastic based golf spikes from Sports direct for around £4

I agree I use golf spikes instead of cricket spikes no difference in fit or size
-
They're all the same mate. A lad at my old club used to use plastic " black widow" golf spikes insteaf of steel.

I find champ spikes the best but sad I know but it is what I have found
-
Adidas come with champ spikes, having said that I think most come with champ spikes.
-
Sports direct had 22 black steel ones and 22 plastic ones for about £3 a set, they do the job well enough
-
My new NB spikes also come with champ spikes.
-
Aswani had at least 4 different types of spare spikes in his shop including puma so maybe worth giving him a shout.
-
My new balance ones did champ are the king of spikes
