Title: Luke Wright out, Keiswetter in...
Post by: joeljonno on March 22, 2014, 07:45:34 AM
Just heard that Wright is out for the tourney and they have drafted in Keiswetter.

I think that is quite a good choice, has a decent track record at the top of the order. Probably strengthened the team overall.

Surely it means they will pick Bell now!?

Can't see bedwetter replacing lumb and hales.

But we'll still get smashed.

Kieswetter should have been in the squad from the start. Shame for Wright.

Bedwetter should have been in the squad anyway. It's a shame for wright though, he's be good with some confidence as a finisher

If Kieswetter gets in the team though would Buttler keep the gloves? I've always assumed Kieswetter to be the better keeper seeming as he kept the position at Somerset? I'd expect them to simply for some consistency.

Is luke Wright out with eye strain or blisters on his (No Swearing Please)? Both symptoms of bench warming.

Pick the best keeper.. Sod this touchy feely approach. Best players in their best positions

Funny how the bloke who hasn't been able to score a run or take a wicket in all the warm up games is suddenly injured the night before the tournament starts and needs replacing...

I'm pretty sure Somerset chose kieswetter over buttler due to England and not who was best keeper,

Buttler will be spending more and more time with England and less with Somerset this year, which means they'd have lost there keeper.
Keep bedwetter instead who wasn't in the England set up, and you have the set keeper all year.

Is lukewarm right injured? Or will we get another YouTube vid complaining that GILES ousted him cos "he wasn't a decent bloke" ala the Netherlands foray.

Don't like wishing injury on people but glad he is out.CK didn't have too bad a big bash for Brisbane if memory serves me well. How long has he been out of the England set up?

He won't be spending any time at Somerset this year as he moved to Lancashire  ;)

I was explaining somersets decision in what keeper to keep.

Its easy to edit the quote to take it out of context! Congrats on being a smart (No Swearing Please).

Calm down dear, even with the first sentence in there it's not clear you knew Butler had moved county, an nobody edited the quote, it's exactly what was there.
As for being taken out of context, it appears you took my comment in the wrong way, I wasn't trying to be a smart anything. Apologies for any offence caused.

Cant see either ~Keiswetter or bell playing a game, although one of them should.
