Haven't posted for some time, but thought you lot might like to see the new toys I picked up this week. When I saw that GN were releasing a Powerspot this year I had to have one. A Powerspot was my first bat so there was massive nostalgia involved for me. However I made the mistake of picking up this Powerbow Extreme Players as well. It picked up so unbelievably well I had to have it as well!

I've included my Redback in the photos as a comparison. That's not a small bat by any means, at 2lb 13.7oz. The Powerbow is 2lb 14.0oz with scuff sheet and two grips. It has 43mm edges and is just an enormous piece of wood. The Powerspot is 2lb 14.3oz (only one grip on that) with 40mm edges. Needless to say, I'm extremely chuffed and can't wait to get down to nets tonight and see how they go!

Welcome back MDL. They look terrific.

Had a hit with the Powerbow tonight. Didn't middle a lot but it flew when I did get it near the middle. But even off centre hits seemed to go ok which is good news given how poorly I've been netting so far!

Does the powerspot have a sharp spine ? 40 mm edges with no concaving will make a big bat

Love the profile of the powerspot.
