The longest I have seen Is probably an ST Samurai that sudeep made, Paul did a review on his Youtube channel.

I personally absolutely love these profiles,my next bat will likely be a samurai from sudeep   :D

I've heard good things about Sudeep and I just saw the video review by Paul and the bat looks to have a huge middle.

This would have to be right up there! But pickup can't be that great...

I measured the middle of my Paul Aldred Velocity and it is 8 1/2 inches long measuring from 2 1/4 inches up from the toe to just below the sticker, there is hardly any difference in the rebound  along the middle of the blade.

For me Newbery GT has a phenomenal sized middle. For a high middle blade it pings right down to near the toe. I'll measure it later

Aswani has a couple of these and they actually pick up ok.

What about bats with offset edges? Do they have an exceptionally long middle?

On paper yes, the batoff's proved that the SAF Hades wasn't all that liked

Not sure that is true... In the Batoff with many a SAF, the Hades came 3rd out of 11 bats. Following using one at the Batoff, I had one made. Not sure anyone commented about how long the middle was though. When I've used it, I've found it to have a middle of excellent proportions.

Apologies, must have misread. Perhaps it was in the performance batoff?

Wasn't it two made?

??? I had a SAF custom that came bottom of the Batoff where the first Hades performed well (think it was overpressed), so I asked for a Hades as the replacement. I was very pleased with it!

Most well balanced bats will have the same length of middle. The limiting factors being the splice and the toe. If somebody does a Zona then I could see the middle being shorter in length.

That said I had a Dukes Pro Century (Jumbo lookalike) that pinged from toe to splice but that could fading memories  :D
