It's been a while I posted some bat making photos, was a nice weekend with a bit of breeze and also sunshine and I enjoyed every bit of the bat making outdoors...

Your skills are progressing with every bat you make Sudeep well done!
The shape looks really nice and full...what weight is this bat mate? Also do you but your clefts handled or do you do it yourself?
Also what's your pressing like? Do you do it yourself?

Thanks.
It's 2.11.5 dressed.
I shape part made clefts ( already handled and pressed).

Sudeep,
Thanks for walking us through the process. I'm fascinated by your bat making and am tempted to take a field trip to your workshop and learning some bat making from you.
I think it would be a fun summer evenings project. I have never been good with workshop tools but these pictures inspire me.
Don't mind if I PM you asking for help with basic tools.

For that you will have to come to Romania:).
Not sure if I am the right choice to get trained, there is nothing conventional about how I make bats and still continue to learn with each bat.
Sure you can pm me and I will try to share whatever little experience I have.

Let me just put it this way.
I don't know the ABCs of bat making and you're putting out some nice statements here with your bats so...of course there is a lot to learn.
