Just wondering what distinct advantage(s) do bats made in the UK have over bats made elsewhere, especially in the the sub-continent. What distinct advantage does UK made bats have in terms of performance and longevity?
I am assuming a lot of the folks on here prefer UK made bats and would like to know your thoughts.
Thanks.

They don't have to travel as far too get into your hands if you are in the UK.

Difference is in the maker, not the country the maker is in.
I have many a Indian made that more than match the best of my English made.
I think I'll be after a nz made next.

The difference is in pressing.
Again we are comparing mass produced bats like SS /SG to boutique brands like blank bats, aldred , H4L
BAS are undoubtedly the best bats out from India and their pressing is of quality like UK bats.
Also as a aid above if you can get a bat made from top Indian batmaker you will get a top quality bat.

why do you assume uk makers have an advantage over others. If you are just after honest comparison then do a search. I believe it's been discussed before.
I have a UK made GM which lasted almost as long as Indian made Kooka.
You cannot generalise so broadly as not all UK made bats are going to be the same, the same goes for non UK bats.
