What do people use (if any) to tape up their fingers for keeping? I have damaged my fingers and thumbs on too many occasions to remember now! I know this is probably down to poor technique but that is beyond help! I used fabric strapping tape last season but wondered if there is anything better out there?

Zinc oxide

I have seen some keepers use finger joint protectors or what ever you call them..a elastic tube that goes round the joints of your fingers i have seen basket ball players use them, sorry for the poor description i don't know the proper name for them, i personally use fabric tape.

...micropore tape is my tape of choice, sometimes with plasters over the top if I'm carrying a particularly bad knock from the week before.

Yeah microporous tape for me too, find it far less bulky and does the job of keeping joints strapped.

I use normal plaster tape mate, put some toilet paper underneath then tape. Works fine and cheap.

Thanks for the posts guys. I think I will take a trip to boots and pick up one of each suggestion. I will try them all, although not all at once!
