I have always had a cricket bag, be it medium or large, but as of this season my transport (Team mates car) is nonexistent. This means I sadly have to go on the London transport system.
Now I just really don't want to lug around a cricket bag and I'm thinking of getting a duffel. The only problem I have is that I'm a batman by trade and therefore have two bats which I take to matches, including the normal gear and such.
Ive seen the GN duffel and the MH CK 22 duffel and would like to ask if any of you have these duffel's how are they, when you move around, getting in and out of trains, do they take up space and block the way for people when you sit down.
Really all I'm asking is which one is better.

I used the old pro-performance one. Was good for me when bussing it a lot. Easy to carry and stands up when full so didn't take up too much space on public transport.
Could squeeze in 2 bats , pads, 2 gloves, whites, boots, lid and a few extra bits.

Also take a look at the Slazenger duffle/backpack. I have one of these and have had no issues with using it on London public transport (buses, tube and train).

Spartan duffle has 2 bat pockets.

I bought a GN 1000 duffle not knowing that my mother in law had got me a CK22 duffle. I kept the CK22, however I don't know how it would fare on the tube, it is quite big but is very comfortable for carrying a distance.
It also has 2 bat pockets

I can't fault my GN 1000 duffle so far. Seems well built, stands up and is comfy on my back.

Spartan thing is huge and will be rubbish on London transport.

Look for It's Just Cricket's video review on youtube on the CK22 duffle, Paul likes it more than the Gn1000 bag as it holds more kit and is more comfortable to carry around.

Get one of the England bags.. Both duffle and main bag are great.

The BlankBats one looks rather cool, and Soulman was very taken with the Ton duffle he got from Vitas.

It's not huge, it's quite compact. You can even tell in the photos, the bat handles stick out the top, yet on a gn1000 and ck22 they fit inside it fully. Which to me means they are bigger.

Probably best not to carry spartan on tube. Not because of size but print.

Might sound bias, but the bb bag is perfect for public transport journeys,
- 2 bat pockets
- large compartment for pads/lid/thigh pad
- 3 outer compartments
- backpack straps
- pully for wheelie bag

Look at the Ton Gladiator Duffle, big bag with 2 internal bat pockets so handles don't stick out the top of the bag, fits my batting & keeping kit plus helmet, 2bats, whites no problem.
