a couple of months back thay had their bats up for sale on ebay as a job lot. £750 including postage for their top G1 bats.

Did go and see them, but the bats were very poor in quality. Initially they said the bats were made by themselves in Yorkshire, but then said their batmaker had moved to Derbyshire!! However, the bats looked like imports from India/Pakistan.

I think one of their guys said the bats were made by Kippax, but I would doubt it.

Anyway, if the bat plays well and you are happy with it, how does it matter where they were made or whether they were |G1+ (if there is anything like that) or G1 or G2 willow.....

Pads and gloves may try to copy the Newbery style but not much use when the brand has gone. They asked Newbery to make a couple of bats for a sponsored Pro but couldn't pay for them.

My mate has a set of the gloves and are as good as any glove I have seen, full pittards leather with the same style of the newberys for £24( he's sponsorsed by them)

not a fan of the black yellow colour scheme though....

Shark cricket stuff is awesome! What is also interesting is that they are selling the NXT helmet for just £70 (almost half price) and the centurion is just £18. OMFG!

So good that a friend of mine current county 1st XI player received all of his free kit didn't rate it one bit and sent it them back and regained a deal with a leading brand, speaks volumes!

Helmets seem to be being sold off at just above cost price to try and re couperate some funds perhaps? The NXT wasnt very impressive from my point of view after getting hold of one off of here
