Title: Warsop Platinum or Dynadrive
Post by: tiford on April 25, 2014, 05:05:42 PM
As the subject says. Should I get a Warsop Platinum or Dynadrive?
This will be a club bat, used by a few half-decent players. English pitches, so generally low wickets, but we already have two bats with low/mid sweetspots. We have different styles, offside, legside, wristy, drivers etc. We're not feeble, but not exactly Chris Gayle. It will be about 2.9/2.10 in weight.

Which bat do you think would suit us better?

Thanks

I would suggest that most people would feel more confident going in to bad with a proper bat shape, rather than the 'scooped' dynadrive. Both bats will be good, however 'gimmick' bats like the dynadrive can sometimes have a negative effect.

As a club bat I dont think you should limit it to either of these, plenty to choose from and potentially cheaper aswell! If I were to choose one though it would be the Warsop.

Dynadrive all the way. Not so much a gimmick as a classic bat!

Club bats, far too good for that? What happened to the £6 sports direct specials??

Cheers for the feedback,

I've had a few mentions on forums that this range is too expensive for club bats, but we've basically been given money by the university union, & the option was a few cheap bats, or a couple of storming bats, so of course we got the fancy option.
The Warsop is generally the favourite choice, although the Dynadrive is also tempting, especially as it is pre-knocked into some degree.
Unless there is an obvious winner, I'll just choose my favourite one at the time tomorrow. I've been looking at bats too long, & need to order something.

Warsop every time.

You can call them and have something made to suit many.

Yr better off with a warsop than a mass produced bat from gn ive got a venom and looking for another but like anything else on the forum lots of opinions but bat choice should be yours whether its a 500 quid bat or a 100 quid one :)
