It is with great pleasure we welcome B3 as a sponsor to the forum.
we have a couple of representatives (butterfingerz and Procricket) on the forum from B3 so I am sure they wilk be keen to help where they can.
-
Welcome aboard - roll on the forum offers! ;)
-
Welcome guys ..really look foward for some great stuff :)
-
Ah, thank goodness! I was beginning to worry they weren't getting enough exposure :)
-
Welcome guys. My friend Scott Mckechnie uses your gear and speaks very highly of it
-
I big thank you and big welcome from me I'm sure Richard and The Doctor will say more in the days to come...
For people who have not come across B3 this is who we are
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd2T0f0DH0M (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd2T0f0DH0M)
We have a few plans up our sleeves including product testing and ask the Doctor and Russ night and time to find out more about the 3 Directors and the 2 makers who make B3 one of the most innovative cricket company's around.
I can guarantee from me you will get passion it will not be sales pitched either i have a keen passion for cricket and for B3 and in fact all good cricket equipment.
I will also be a customer liaison i will get to the issue with any issues people have and plan to get the issue sorted the same day as the issue arrives.
We will have a few specials of course we will and plan on showcasing equipment that has been designed by a man who has been designing top international players kit for the last 20 odd years and a man who has been called The leading willow technician of his generation but The Doctor's head might not fit into the forum if we trump him up any more.
I'm also here to answer any question about B3 you will find we hold very few secrets in the smoke and mirrors we deal in fact and not speculation.
The main reason i joined B3 is there passionate like me, for years i thought i was just a Hornby trainspotter with my kit fetish but i have found my cricketing home because they share the same thoughts that the best cricket equipment should be available for all.
Thank you for your kind wishes i hope i can deliver interesting at times funny, and at time informative things most of all I aim to deliver passion about equipment.
Also thank to to the forum powers that be for allowing us to share the passion.
A few facts first off
The People Behind B3
The three people behind B3 Cricket are passionate about cricket and making world class products!
Our combined knowledge and experience means that each and every B3 product is made to the highest standards possible and personally quality checked by one of the owners before it leaves the factory!
Here’s a bit more about the people behind B3:
Russell Evans:
Commercial Director
“Russ” is a former Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire professional cricketer who went on to gain over 20 years’ experience working for a global cricket brand. Russ took up umpiring three years ago and in 2011 was asked to join the First Class Reserve List for the ECB.
Doctor David Bacon:
Production Director
“The Doctor” has a PhD in materials engineering, with 7 years knowledge and experience of cricket bat design and manufacture within a global cricket brand. David is an expert in modern machine based cricket bat manufacturing and is also an associate lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) working with students on the Sport Technology course.
Michael Blatherwick:
Commercial Director
“Blathers” sold his computer systems business in 2011 and decided to invest in his hobby and passion – cricket! Blathers is a level 2 ECB Coach and (although in the twilight of his career) still turns out for his beloved Kimberley Institute Cricket Club in the Nottinghamshire Leagues.

We did indeed. And won. I stood at alip for 46 overs and then wasnt needed to bat though.

-
Welcome to the forum guys. Great to have you on the forum. I sincerely hope your stay is a fruitful one. I for one, am looking forward to reading posts by one of the leading willow expert in the industry.
-
have been looking forward to this one, best bat ive been able to touch but not have was a B3, definitely on my to buy list :D
-
Will B3 be posting under a shared account Dave or as individuals ?
Not confined yet mate just awaiting admin to sort it we could be under one banner with initials or signatures under the Doctor will be posting as The Doctor if that helps.
I can feel a forum day coming on potentially or a special competition also ask the doctor sessions he is funny because he is more bonkers than me about bats..
-

Morning all! Thought I should formally introduce myself. I've been working for B3 for around three months helping out on Saturday mornings and whenever else I can, it's a great place to be and nothing at all like my day job.
The team are very passionate about what we do, none of us are sales guys as we trust the quality of our product and word of mouth do that side of the job for us.
If you haven't been to the factory before then I highly recommend it and if you don't already please follow us on Twitter and face book to to see what our customers say about us.
We are very excited about sponsoring the forum and as Dave said keep an eye out here for promotions and news on forum meetings.

Butters:
How tall is Dave really?
And in a 'nerd-off' between him and the Doctor, who would be the most nerdy about bats?
-
Dave is 4ft6 in heels as far as I know
-
Dave is no giant fella ;) I'm only 5' 9 and can safely say so!
In a nerd off there is no completion.......definitely Dave biggest cricket nerd I've ever met (sorry pal)

Haha Rich bit harsh that Streaky told me about the natural and non natural middles of a cricket bat and so forth i told him how to score runs.
As for height I feel like a giant currently still Buzzing from my day.
