Anyone used this gear? I have heard good and bad reviews but the kit looks decent and at a good price.

Have had a couple of Hawk bats and they take quite a while to start to ping but then really do ping and last ages. Very impressed with their quality and as their bats are hand knocked in save you the time and effort of doing that, Don't think you can go wrong with a Hawk.

Cheap wicket keeping pads above...
Just seen Hawk have a new bat in their range, the G10 which looks an absolute beast, described as:
New for the 2010 season. The G10 bat features an incredibly large middle with massive edges but still with a light pick up. Available in Short Handle (SH) only and weights from 2lbs 14oz upwards

Also wondered if anyone had used a Hawk Xbow as I have only ever used an X10 and wondered if it had a light pick up, etc...?

i live just around the corner from Hawk and I have been a few times. The workshop is incredible - small but full of clefts and bats. They have got a lot of work from Addidas as they are the ones doing the Pros bats so they must be doing something right.
I have seen a number used and they all look lush and have played really well.

Do you know if they ever have any sales on at all or have any bargains/bin end kind of things?
