Title: fixture near dorchester for saturday 30th

our club always visit cerne abbas to play our return leg. we have always struggled to get a side on the saturday given that there is still league cricket on.

we would want a friendly game on the saturday afternoon 30/40 over against a team that will turn up and have an actual cricket ground.

any help would be great

Where about are you based?
I know of a ground that would be free as they only play evening cricket there. It is an artificial but picturesque settings, about 45 mins from Dorch towards Salisbury.

Alternatively there's a team called Charlton Down that (i think) have 1 Saturday team so the fixtures may work out for you.

Also 30th of which month?

30th august would be useful to mention in the first place.

we are travelling from minehead and usually stay near cerne abbas
