Title: Size of GN bats
Post by: Master Blaster on July 04, 2008, 03:20:43 AM
Hi Guys,

I was just wondering, are the lower grade senior bats as big as the players and grade one bats?

For example is the Viper500 as big as the Viper Players? In refernce to edge and spine size?

Thanks.

They may be or may not be! Its doubtful as lower grade willow will be used it is likely to be more dense thus making a small profile heavy. But as the grade on looks not performance you may find a huge one!

to a point, after they get beyond grade 3, unless you want a heavier bat. the weight is compensated for by the reduced edge and middle size. but it doesnt matter, all gn bats go like guns anyway. on a more serious not i find that kookaburra bats do the shrinkage of size by quite a margin. just to back it up, ever seen a generic kookaburra bat, with g 3 willow with edges less than 30mm?
