He has had those Morrant ultralites for about 20 years, Gavaskar suggested he used them as a kid and he has never changed.......

i will be surprised if he has the same pads for 20 years. . . . if these pads last so long, Morrant will be out of business by now and so will other companies :)

Maybe you were suggesting he has been using Morrants for 20 years since Sunny first gave his pair to Sachin.

Most of the Indian players (Sachin, VVS, MS Dhoni, Sehwag etc.) who use Morrants, pay for them.

honestly i have not seen any other pros use morrants....does anyone recall other players who use a morrant?

Sachin recieved his first pair of pads from Sunny, and they had buckles. Since then he has always used buckled pads as a superstition. The only other player how uses buckles is VVS

Tendulkers gloves have always been made by  b.a.s  as sachin is a family friend, but now adidas have now said he has to use there logos.Tried a pair of his gloves on last week ,there like a youths size glove ,but these gloves are custom made for him and have a lot of extra protection on the fingers.

Very big shoes for Rohit Sharma to fill-in. He is a good player, but not getting his chances in team India. Looks as if he is slightly out of favor with MS Dhoni as he has made some comments in the IPL to suggest that.

I personally feel Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli are the best new prospects as all rounders. Ojha and Mishra are top class spinner. Unfortunately, not many fast bowlers coming up the ranks.

Yes, that is something that has been a case with Sachin always. He even stuffs in his pads with 1-2 extra layers of padding!! Even his helmet has extra thicker ti grills.
